Our animals

As a member of the AFdPZ (French Association of Zoological Parks), the park helps preserve endangered species through breeding, and new births are added to our nursery every year.

The park is known for its collection of hornbills (Papuan, ground, rhinoceros hornbills…), whose huge colourful beaks always surprise visitors. You will also meet squirrel monkeys, lemurs, meerkats, wallabies, colourful parrots, African spurred tortoises, miniature donkeys and domestic animals.

Our gardens

The mild climate of the Var makes it possible to grow plants from the five continents outdoors: eucalyptus, mimosas, palms, cycads, agaves, yuccas, cacti and giant bamboo. They are arranged in themed gardens (Australian bush, the meerkats’ desert and its cactus rock gardens, palm grove, bamboo grove) that recall the animals’ natural habitats.

The park has been awarded the Jardin remarquable label by the French Ministry of Culture for its landscape and botanical collections. The gardens are lovely all year round, with the most flowers from February to October and mimosas in late winter.
